Maybe outmatched at national-level, but certainly a contender in local events, where most folks play. Under $5k for a fun, reliable and competitive ES car is not a bad deal at all. Also makes a very good track car. POS is the most correct though; a clean R-pack w/o rust or mods fetches a premium from northern buyers these days. Enough that I could price it with shipping included and still do well.
From the additional pics on the dealer website, I see an illuminated airbag light, a nice clean engine bay, with a very brown radiator, and what looks like adjusters (maybe Koni) on the front shocks.
I think it has potential, and am impressed at how stock it is. Other than the tires, shift knob, and radio, it's all stock. The engine bay is unmolested, the door panels aren't modified for aftermarket speakers, and the crappy sun visors are even there. ;)
