120 Hz good enough?
It was a Walmart Black Friday special. Everyone at Walmart on Thanksgiving between 6 and 7 pm could pick up a voucher. You then had until midnight to pay for the TV and it would be shipped to store no later than 12/24. They also had a few of them in stock at each store, but that is for the idiots who spent all day waiting in lines. I was in and out in 45 minutes, which included 15 minutes trying to find the guy with the vouchers, 15 minutes waiting in line to pay, and 15 minutes trying to get out of the gridlocked parking lot. This is the one I got: http://www.vizio.com/d650ib2.html
^Sweet deal!
^ Just a bad one or a "feature"? Our Samsung TV adjust to ambient light but not like yours.... ;-)
Go in to the advanced settings. Mine was set to auto brightness out of the box, and I turned it off.
There are some sits that have full blown setting lists done by professional installers for many TV models. When I went through the full pro settings (80+ adjustments) it made an unbelievable difference on our plasma.
+1 I've calibrated each of our plasmas that way.
I did calibrate it according to several different sources. It's a software bug.
^I forgot to call onething! :)
I waited by the phone in the kitchen for days.
Going back to my old stand-by....Sony.

Same as the KDL-60W630B everyone else sells, but $100 cheaper at Costco.
so ditched the 4k plan (?)... nice price for a 60" led.
