+1 for Onkyo. I haven't shopped in a few years, but they couldn't be beat as far as features/buck, plus they had good reviews.

I'm lazy, I just bought a sound bar with wireless sub and 2 rear speakers (wired to the wireless sub), pretty happy with it.
