I had a great time at the school and the AX.
The course seemed very fast to me. It was even a little intimidating for this novice. There were several opportunities to run the car up to the upper limits, before shutting down fast and turning in. I found myself breathing pretty hard at the end of each run. I loved every minute of it...well except for that one DNF for getting lost on course.
Concerning the car number issue, when I was working corner 5 I noticed a lot of cars with colored tape that did not contrast well with the car color. Like black or Blue paint and blue tape. One white car had tiny little yellow numbers 1111 that were impossible to make out. I noticed in his second session he had changed to blue, so something must have been said.
Overall, it was a well run event that left me wanting more. Can't wait till the next event!
