Thanks for the suggestion but that is not the issue. It is just a half-assed application. Worked fine last week but not this week. Same explanation as last month when it did not work. It's Topeka's fault.
If I ran in a class of one, I would probably still finish DFL.
Some info on the schedule:
Quote:
Registration and roving tech Friday June 19th 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Manor House Inn, Race Central
Pizza and beverages will be served Friday night at the motel during registration and tech.
Saturday night, the dinner/party will be at 6:00 pm at the Wings-n-More
1803 Deacon College Station, TX 77845 Close to race central motel
We'll have wings, chicken tenders, steak fingers, slaw, fries, and onion rings. Of course beverages will be there as well.
Still trying to get word on where we will all be able to Park since there does not appear to be site access until Saturday at 7AM. Google satellite & earth appears to indicate a rather small lot at the hotel.
Wow - hadn't even thought of the parking situation. It won't take many truck/trailer rigs to fill up a small lot. Chris and I are debating now on trailering or not.
huh?
I think the mod cars were quieter...
'twas pretty loud, 'twasn't it?
The added volume makes it feel soooo much faster, just like when you add new stickers. :burnrubr:
New headers, ~60lb weight reduction from carrying around fewer exhaust components.... it's got to be faster, right? Either that or I'm finally figuring out how to drive it.
It will be more civilized for College Station this weekend. I'm curious to see the dyno charts, because I suspect we're giving up some midrange by having it that open. Chris did a pre-mod dyno run, so we'll see what the post mod chart turns up.
during your parade lap it seemed pretty slow.... until you got to the finish ;)
Did you ever thank Jeremy (Ault in the spinning Evo) for your rerun?
And hand them out to everyone within 5 miles. Headphone protectors for competitors and spectators along with Advil.
Don't worry about the Bryan site. Just drive the car down instead of trailering it and you'll win free accomodations in some community's facility along the way.

I hear POS is showering now.
Just a "heads-up" and to answer several questions I've received on e-mail the last 2 days.
• There is NO "test-n-tune" on Friday in College Station for the Divisional this weekend.
• Also, as of right now, the A&M Annex site will NOT be open on Friday.
You will not be able to place your vehicles or trailers at the site until Saturday morning.
I just spoke with Todd Farris about this & there is a chance this might change. But, he will not know until Friday evening after 5pm!
If the access situation changes, an announcement will be made at registration check-in at the Manor House location Friday evening.
Dang. Stupid Brad got sick, so I'm solo (pardon the pun).
I am in second after today, .2 behind Steve and .4 in front of Bob. I started assuming that I would use the same setup that Miatamoto and I used earlier in the year here, but I guess the surface is that much different in the heat. So, I spend my first two runs getting the car right, and then I finally got myself right on the fourth run.
It is a very fast and long course. We are in the mid-80 seconds and many people are going into third.
Ken O is in second in STU. Pretty good for a car that is not fully prepped.
Go Boys, Go!
:burnrubr::burnrubr:
I just spoke to Lost216 and he is also in 2nd at the end of day one. Stinkin Neon Hippie Driver is codriving and is in 4th.
Some how I found 2.5 seconds from my 1st run to my 4th. Sitting .087 out of first behind stinking STi.
Wow, today's course was even faster! There is a ton of grip out there!
Since I had my car dialed in after the first day's issues, I was able to concentrate on my driving and pulled off first place for the event. Bob was second, in front of Steve E.
Ken O was second in STU, behind Vitek.
General Default was first in BS.
SpinOut500 took FM.
I think Stuart took AS, but I'm not sure.
I think Lost Lorin took third in ES, behind his co-driver.
Wayne was second in ST, behind Hollis.
 Congratulations to you all!
Great job guys! :burnrubr:
Nice job kids!
Results.
It looks like I was a little off on some of my earlier report.
Way to go guys! Wish I could have gone. Stupid work ::Rant::
Vitek and I traded the lead with each run. It came down to the last run and I was leading. Vitek broke out with a fast run and I spun my last run, go big or go home. But we were both beaten by Matt in STX!
You guys missed a good event!!
Fantastic, FAST, Long 80 second courses! Amazingly close competition in many of the classes ....even after 2 days of combined times.
Competition in A Stock was a blast! Stuart & I were only .138 seconds apart after 2 days of competition. Stan & Sue have a yellow Porsche Cayman now, that's amazing quick!
Matt was "OMG" fast in Chris Ledbetter's STX BMW!!
- Brad
