None have been delivered in Texas yet. They started arriving at dealerships on the coasts last weekend, but have to go by train to TX. Last I saw they expected the train to arrive in TX today or tomorrow, then a few days to unload from the train cars and sort onto the proper car carriers. MNAO is telling those with orders to expect Tuesday-Thursday deliveries depending on the dealership.Quote:

Did you sit in it? How did it feel...roomy, cramped, etc?
I don't like the display screen sticking up on the dash...I can see that easily getting ripped out of the car if you left the top down.
The interior is nice! Leaps and bounds above what Mazda has done in the past. They even brought back the headrest speakers.
I didn't get to spend much time in it since it was sold, but I fit in it just fine.
Looking at the brochure if you want a Limited Slip your going to get the Screen so better get accustom to the change. ;-)
Why do they keep making these with 4x4 suspension?
The Nav looks straight out of a Benz C class, looks like they just attached it to the dash with velcro.

That's the only styling cue that really bothers me. Looks like an after thought. I agree, Mazda needs to change the screen and integrate it into the dash. It makes no sense.

Dad and Bill both said the ND is pretty awesome. Very torquey. Lower rpm's to gain power. Dad's words "it's the best stock miata" I've ever driven. They got 39mpg on one tank and were getting 34mpg on the 2nd tank. They made it back in time for FM Summer Camp.

The one bad thing I have heard about the ND for autocross is that it has a short 2nd gear.

Bottom line, top speed in 2nd gear (at 6800 rpm) works out to 56 mph for the base and 57 for club/GT (different wheel/tire).

Other than the look, is it better than the NC? ... and how about a nicely mod NC?
