I'm experiencing the same thing. Hoping to get my 47 Truck project back on-track, or sell it and buy Jimmy's truck!

This was at this weekend SCCA Event!

Home Depot can rent you a truck by the hour. Seems cheaper for occasional projects than buying a truck.
If only you knew someone with a truck that works for cheap (gas, beer :D ).
Bringing this one back from the dead. I'm looking again!! ::Banana::
Looked at a GMC Sonoma and a Ford Ranger today they were both sketchy....
I still like my GMC Sonoma and my GMC Jimmy
Start trolling you local Fiesta parking lot on Saturday with cash in hand... I bet you find something in short order.
I owned an 82 S-10 for 9 years and a 91 Ranger for 3 years. The S-10 rode better than the Ranger, but the Ranger was built better. The Ranger would really bounce you around on a rough road, but it would just float down a smooth highway. The Ranger had an extended cab which was really nice to have.
I miss the Ranger, but not the S-10 even though it was the first new vehicle I ever purchased.
I've been watching this site for a tow vehicle. Looks like mostly work trucks, nothing fancy, mostly white.

4.3 vortec s-10 good. 4 cyl S-10 bad. Fact. Dunno first hand bout Rangers but would likely take one anyway since Ford quality control > GM 's.
Might make a trip out to lavon. There is a repair shop that also deals used cars. The prices seem decent and the trucks don't look too bad. It's at the corner of 78 & 205. They have a few rangers there as of today.
4.3 Vortec, the Ranger suspension is too soft for my tastes on a pull.
The search has ended. ::Banana::
