I think I'm going to race this one,
This is a good help to get you going with your class: http://autocross.com/er/carmodandclassification.pdf
The folks in tech are often knowledgable and willing to offer a classing opinion, but it is not official. You'll find the best people to confer with on class-legal mods are other drivers in the class (or a related class). Not all will know the answers, but most have some idea since they have asked the same questions in their own builds.
Your car sounds pretty solidly in the STR camp for now. I'll be happy to take a close look this Sunday, especially if you beat me. :)
Please forgive me but I don't know everybody by their handle. Please tell me who you are and what car/class you are supposed to be registered.Quote:
I think I screwed something up... I logged in to the car/class registered, and now that I've changed that, it wants me to pay again, and I'm no longer registered for the event, even though I prepaid for.
I prepaid in a 92 NSTS Miata (though that's not showing up anymore either now), but I would like to switch it to NSTX/RSTX 2002 Subaru WRX, #124, Blue. Thanks!
Also, does ER have loaner helmets? I have one, but I have a friend I'm trying to convince to get a car and start racing that I might bring to show him what it's all about.
Yup, there'll be loaner helmets. On a table just as you leave grid.
Registered!
In, and ready to dethrone OZMDD*!
*If I can manage to let the air out of his tires this could happen.
I let some air out of his tires last time and he went one second faster.
OZMDD has is own supply of air
