There is a big difference between a track specific R compound and an autocross specific R compound. Especially at the bus lot, where it is harder to get heat in the tires. Not that I would expect someone who has never driven on R compounds to fully understand this. ::Bleh::

Not that it really matters. Even if I had autocross specific R comps for my car, I'd still rather drive Mark52's car. It's a riot! :burnrubr:

I thought the Mini was closer to 2,500 pounds. Anyway I just pulled an Altiain and got a co-drive.

Has anyone ever done the "as many people as doors" thing and had 4 people in the car for any of these?

I wonder if the extra grip from the weight would make up for the extra weight? :D

Great event!

Had a great time at the bus lot today. It was a fast and very fun course. Kudos to NTAXS, Jimmy and the whole crew. :burnrubr:

The event ran smoothly and we finished up early...we were done and packed up by 4pm. Good to see some of the stragglers who hadn't AX'd recently.
