Yeah, it sure made a lot of noise without the exhaust, but I was really suprised to see it lose 6 peak horsepower, as well as torque through the entire rev range. :scratch:Quote:

I was a little surprised to see the POS bring in the lowest HP & Torque numbers of all the participants! :cry:
It was also something to see that there was very little spread in HP over the 2-1/2 generations of Miata that made the show!
The POS’s best run of 3 was Max Power 88.8 & Max Torque 83.2
Oh yea and Flyin96M has one Evil Miata! :shock: He was the undisputed Miata horsepower king of the Dyno yesterday! :salut:

My car made 122.8 hp & 109.9 lb-ft of torque with the Enthuza exhaust installed, and 117.1 hp and 105.8 lb-ft of torque with the axle-back exhaust removed completely.

I also want to thank all those that made Saturday possible. I had a great time and so far the best dyno experience. I was also happy to see that I have been tuning in the right direction and went from 210 hp to 238 hp and 212 ft lbs of torque! :bounce: I have to say that I am very happy with the results and want to thank ATS again for putting this on.
If you are feeling a little low about your HP numbers maybe you need to get one of these.
At 342 rwhp and 310ft/lbs. Big Gulp is a torque monster. The run was stopped at 7k, but as you can see it is just starting to peak. How much power do you think it will make at it's current redline of 8700 RPM's ?
Using a M62 supercharger. Now that will get you across Forest Lane at 5 o'clock traffic!

Thanks to everyone for coming out. We had a great time. Aaron put my 99 back on the dyno after everyone left, with some tweaks to the Link ECU the tiny turbo wheezed out 202 rwhp at ~11psi. The turbo is too small to hold boost past about 6000 rpm. If he gets time in the next few weeks we will upgrade the T25 to T28 (or slightly bigger) specs. He's had good luck with a customers SR20DET in a Sentra making ~230fwhp at 12 psi.
