My aunt had TWO of these things back in the day - both stick shift. One was the original RWD beast, and the next was the first FWD GLC. The RWD GLC got handed down to my cousin, and then to her little sister - who finally killed it in Houston when she undoubtedly ran it over a giant curb or something. I have extremely fond memories of tooling around El Paso in July during the early 80s, sweating balls and seriously rocking out with some sweet Def Leppard, Loverboy, and perhaps some Pat Benatar.

So i'm sitting here a few minutes ago trying not to study and I see the fedex man pull up and start struggling to lug something out. I thought wow the hitch got here fast. Wait what...

This is what the guy lugged to my door step. He says are you Mr Fields. Yea... haha what the hell is it??

So they shipped me a 1 inch steel C(?!?), complete with grease and dirt, with the shipping label tied to a handle. Looked like it weighed about 40 lbs. WTF Amazon?

*for the record I refused shipment and called amazon, they already have hopefully an actual tow hitch on 2 day to my house. Customer service has gotten top notch. We thought it was pretty damn funny. The fedex guy got a big kick out of it.
