SCCA Solo Event #5 @ TMS Bus Lot, 7/19/2009

Results.

I should have shown up, I might have been able to do something in ST since all the crazy fast ST guys went STU.

Amazing how a slight difference in pax index = a largish change in pax time.

My best time:
52.035
SM PAX: .867
BSP PAX: .859

SM index time:
45.114
BSP index time:
44.698

It would have moved me up to 49th from 60th.

On the other hand, I could have not driven like crap and done it myself ;)

I loved the course and NO I didn't pay Stevan to show up so I wouldn't be last! :D

Had a blast. My first time on r-comps didn't disappoint. I only wish I had a few more runs so that I could have shaved another second or two off. I felt like I was driving a different car yesterday.

I thought SCCA didn't let people ride? Or was that PCA?

SCCA does allow it.

PCA does not allow a second person in the car unless one of the persons is an approved instructor.

Me too! Its cool driving a competitive car so that my less than stellar driving skillz almost seem decent.... almost. :rolleyes:

All in all a fun event, the car handled like poop, but we were able to get it at least decent by the 4th runs. I have never seen an alignment done so poorly.

You guy's on street tires are going to have to stop using the Formula V. Street tires should not get air on the Bus Lot on a stock car. :burnrubr:
