If by torque arm you're talking about the PPF, that isn't used in the v8 swap. Some plates are welded to the front of the rear subframe and the front of the rear diff mounts into that. The rear of the transmission is mounted to a cross brace that is connected between the two frame rails.
I've been quite busy the past several weeks. I've got a lot of the bugs figured out and have a nice list of items to resolve in the upcoming weeks. I'll be under the car again soon and can get some pics. I need to take the exhaust system off and go get it ceramic coated - radiant heat is a big issue.
