I find the Fiata pictures surprisingly unflattering. I was expecting it to look as good or better than the ND, but it misses the mark by a fair distance from what I can tell (IMHO).
Its like the Sky to the Solstice, only less-cool.
I think Alpha concept car has cleaner lines than the ND. I know when it comes to styling it is subjective. I like the concept like.
It will be interesting to see if FCA puts a better motor and gearing in the Fiata than what the kids in Hiroshima did.....
So if a guy shows up to a Miata meet in a Fiata, will he be ostracized?
There is no Fiatas at Hallett.
Probably no Miatas at Hallett anymore either.
They keep giving us the prime weekend. I sure hope I can attend next year.
Hmmm I sort of like it. A powerful motor is a nice touch as well....

Not bad...Fix It Again Tony.
I kinda like it. A bit busy in the light department, but the retro hood bumps are nice. If it really gets both the Abarth engine and exhaust sound, and they get the transmission right (hopefully its just the mazda tranny), this might be a tempting alternative. Of course, I'm ignoring the inevitable sticker shock.
Cool part about a Fiat is only the first owner pays too much. Used these things should be a steal! ;-)

I don’t like the looks. It gets uglier with each concept. I really liked the first concepts I saw of it, but not now.
Quote from another forum (not mine).
“Expected Sophia Loren, got Bea Arthur. I give it three thumbs down.”
I like it better than I would have thought, but I really like the Miata, so that would be my choice. I really like the new Miata.
What a wasted opportunity! They should have built the 2uettottanta. That thing was gorgeous. It would also make a darn fine body kit for the ND.
I wonder what it would take to do a custom re-creation:

I had a Fiat 124 as a kid (ask Ashley) that was a cool looking fun piece of junk . Not sure Id like to re-live it. Turbo is cool though
I had a 124 in the 70s. Took almost the entire decade to get a replacement starter.
Fix It Again If The Parts Come is less comical but more likely.

Think Mazda Miata With A Turbo And Sharp Italian Suit -> http://www.carbuzz.com/news/2015/11/...-Suit-7730493/
I had a 1972 Fiat 124 Wagon for a year in about 1980. I spent more money keeping it running for that year than the purchase price. But, like most Italian cars, it was fun when it was running.

Hmm... too much wacky tobacky in Colorado: http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars...16-mx-5-miata/
I got to drive a v8 NA this summer. I like that kind of wacky tobacky
That said, also tested a ND and if Mazda would give me more color and ordering options I would already have one on order.
Snow tires, are you frigging kidding me, Snow Tires?

^Looks fun!
ND seems to be a hit...

4 exhaust tips seems silly to me.
It looks great. Price seems competitive. The exterior styling looks more reminiscent of an NC than an ND, at least in the web images, and is better looking than either of them. I'd rather have a normally aspirated engine than that turbo, though.
Too early to say yet if "Fiata Is Also The Answer", but looks promising. I wonder how it's sprung.
