75.3. I could have gotten into 74 with a change I made on a fun-run after the event.

According to my maxQ, I had a 1:09 on my 2nd afternoon lap, but there were timing errors on my first 2. Oh well, the car could've probably done a 0:50 if Miatamoto was driving.
Edit: some MER interesting tidbits from the data:
- my max speed was 98.2, and it was not on the straight, but at the bottom of the hill entering corner 2.
- fastest entering the toilet bowl, 84.6
- fastest exiting the hairpin at corner 3, 41.4 mph :( wasted some opportunity here, I think
- at one point or another, I was above 80 mph on 5 different straights throughout the course.
- Never got above 94 on the pit straight, which seemed like the fastest section when driving it.
Data is fun.
I had an awesome time at this - it was great meeting some of you face-to-face, and seeing others out there again.
My very last run was my fastest by .5 seconds, which is always a good way to end the day. Given that it was my first time on a track, my not-so-ideal tires and the "OMG I HAVE NO BRAKES" moments, I'm very happy with my 84.something fastest time, too - Huge thanks to Mark for braving my driving to ride along and give advice, I was pretty consistently improving as the laps ticked by so it was definitely helping me out!
Anybody happen to snap any pictures?
Awesome time yesterday. My first time on a track, and I loved it! Thanks to the folks that ran it, thanks to the several instructors that rode with me, etc etc etc.
I took a ton of pictures, I think I got just about everyone except the Group 5/6/7 cars in the Blue sessions. Once I get them off the camera and posted (too busy watching baseball last night) I'll send out a link.
It was a great time! The fine folks at Maverick Region PCA put on a great event!
Got down to a 78.### (IIRC) mainly from a great tip I got from Davidss! Thanks!
I had a great time, except getting up at 3:45am to get there on time. My best time was an 81.1 sec, IIRC. I'm pretty sure I figured out a better line for Russ' Corner during the fun runs. I really do believe that I could have gotten a better time if I had driven faster. In retrospect, I should have gotten an instructor that knew the 1.3.

I'm glad I have a corner named after me.
Your right I should have stayed. I was frustrated (see earlier post) and wanted to find the problem. Parts being overnighted and it'll be good to go by next weekend.
Hey flyn96m.....
yep, I was there. Enjoyed the heck out of that highly technical smaller track. I hope we run itit again. It was great seeing 12 Miatas out there. Good to meet new people and see old friends.
Special thanks to Travis for all his work to make it happen.
How many saw the spy taking pictures of the timing sheets in the timing truck during lunch break
Maniac Mitch
I saw him! I have one of his pics too. :)
Now how about PCA posts results?
I'll get the times into a spreadsheet tonight and email it out to everyone that registered.
Yippee!
Thanks, THoward914. Not for just the results, but for all you do for the time trial program. Yesterday was a great event. When will be do it again?
