Sheesh ... I missed out on a lot of good discussion here. I need to figure out why I'm not getting email notifications from this board ... :|
I don't remember if I mentioned it in this thread, or just in the thread on S2KI, but my motivation behind "fixing" the classing for the S2000 is not to increase my wins. I believe I'm more likely to win a championship with the classes the way they are. However, I think the other S2000s are screwed in Y class, which reduces participation. So basically, I'm suggesting that we make it better for the majority instead of the minority.
I understand this is a BMW club, but ignoring the non-BMW classes would be stupid, since the attendence of BMWs isn't enough to fund the events on their own. It also seems that the economy has caused attendence to drop in all clubs, so it's important to think about the future.
