Linkie.
This is a limited edition Civic Si sedan that will be sold officially by Honda starting in the spring of 2007. Even though Mugen parts are known for their ridiculously high quality, this car's estimated $30,000 price tag is simply too high.
The kit consists of NO engine modifications except a new exhaust. Mugen suspension. Mugen body kit. Mugen wheels (admitedly gorgeous, but similar rims on King Motorsports' website sell for $680 each ). Mugen shift knob and, uh, that's about it. HP? 197 -- exactly the same as my $20,500 Civic Si.
I'm sure they will sell the 500 cars that are planned, but the Si package is simply not competitive at $30k. If you bought all those Mugen parts and put them on your Si, you would spend more than $30k total, but still.
You'd be better off buying the Honda Factory Performance suspension kit for $580, picking up a nice set of SSRs with some sticky buns, not screwing up your factory warranty, and calling it a day.
