Car looks good, but that isnt the 10th anniversary edition. That edition was blue. Welcome to the site, and enjoy the car.

Well it is a car made in the 10th anniversary year, and a lot of dealers tend to try and use that as a selling point. I dont know how carfax would have that info. Oh well it doesn't change too much other than the color.
-
I just assumed it was a special options package for that year, and tied to the VIN.
Oh well, thanks for the info. Loving the car, I put over 100miles on it in the first 24 hours of ownership, and not one has been with the top up. Even insisted on a top-down test drive.

Nice looking Miata. I like the Emerald Mica color. I think its one of the best colors Mazda had.
-
The green/tan is my favorite combination for this car.
Though I do love the Stormy Blue Mica on the newer models.

I hope you didn't pay extra for it. It's just a plain old leather package car. 10AE has polished wheels, six-speed, and a very unique interior.

Great car! Welcome to our corral on the Wild Whirled Web!

Picked it up at a CarMax for just under $9k. Wanted to go the dealership route to help build my credit :). It was right around what KBB said it was worth. I know KBB isn't always the best reference, but I feel I paid a fair price. I don't think I got a great deal, and I don't feel I got ripped off.

Welcome.....Looks like you got a good deal to me....A nice 99 is the ........
"only way to go" ::Banana::

Just under 96k :D.

Congrats on the car. It looks good. Green with a tan interior is always nice.

I got all excited when I saw the subject line. Not a 10AE, but looks pretty good to me. Welcome and enjoy the car!

That price is a good deal for Car Max. I've seen a few listing in the $12K-14K range at CarMax for early NBs in good condition around here a couple of months ago when my sister wanted one. The seats look a bit lighter than mine; I wonder if it is the camera, if mine are just that worn, or if they were switched.

Welcome aboard and enjoy the ride.

Whats up Kyle?! Glad I could turn yet another over to the dark side! Or should that be sunny side since the top is down?::Banana::

I saw that car!
I saw that car when it was for sale and I wondered why they listed it as an anniversary edition.
I bought my 99 anniversary edition last April - it is a BEAUTIFUL car - fully stock! Only had 60K miles on it too! The guy I bought it from took really good care of it and had everything that went with it except for the little diecast car :(
My number is 1798! I was torn between that one and another one that was listed out of state that was number 1999! How sweet that would have been - but this car had less miles and the paint is so nice that when I brought it to work for the first time people thought it was brand new.
My boyfriend liked my car so much, he just purchased his own Miata - his is a 2006 touring edition. Charcoal grey with a black top! I think it's funny that my car has no usable cup holders - and his has FOUR! It's only a two seater! I guess that way you can have your water, your coffee, your soda, and (insert your pick here)!!
I love love love my car - I was in Houston and saw the SCCA out at the Gulf Greyhound track and I stopped in to check it out. I flew down so I didn't have my car with me, but I got to ride with several people and it was awesome! I can't wait to attend any and all driving schools that I can and perhaps drive the track in Houston one day soon!
Sorry - don't have any pictures of my car yet....will probably take some this weekend of both the Miatas! I guess the 2006 is really called an MX-5. Mine has the Miata loga and his has the MX-5 logo.
