8 runs at La Grave, anyone else going? I know lots will be at the divisional and ER is the same day at MW I believe.

I will be at the SCCA Divisional. Have fun!
I'll be in College Station at Texas World Speedway. Enjoy!
I'll see ya there. More runs, less commute time and better surface. What's not to like.
People autocross in lots with light poles all over the country. We're just lucky here in DFW to have so many sites without them. You're spoiled! ;)
You know we're talking about BMWCCA here right? I'm sure their course will be as long as the ER course at MW. Last time they used both the main lot and the area where SCCA paddocks at LaGrave. It made for a really fun course.
Hmmmm... I was planning MW, but I may just have to change my mind. What time is tech/check-in at these things?
Yes I am DFW is a great place to live for an autocrosser. It's good that they use the hole lot wish SCCA would. Mineral Wells is still my favorite site (all ways wanted to be a rally driver).

Gotta love those first gear slolams!
Now who wants to haul my tires out there :) I'll pay for lunch.
Yeah, those off/on camber offsets were so much fun! You'd go flyin in and screaming "there's no way I'm going to make it" and then bang, on camber and tons of grip.
Mark52, you just slowed down too much for that. You could have made it through there in second. ;) I did on street tires. :burnrubr:
Register on DLBracing. You'll be in class X if you're on street tires.

Newb question alert... can you rent helmets?
I'll be at ER in Mineral Wells, more than likely.
I'll at ER too! My first in a looong time.
Ahh, That'll buff right out.
Like I said, people race around light poles all around the country. That's why the SCCA has regulations on designing around them. Accidents happen but I've never been on what I considered a dangerous course at LaGrave.
I didn't know the WRX had retractable wheels. When it is frightened does it pull the wheels up? I do.
Yes.

I don't know why everyone thinks their course desisgn is bad, it's usually pretty safe. The only time I was ever nervous with LSCBMWCCA was at grayson county airport. There was a 80 mph kink, I tried to go through flat footed and started sliding towards a ditch, luckily I had enough real estate to catch it.
I agree, that course was crap. Only used like 1/2 the surface, and it was dangerous. :(
ill be there!! mineral wells ate up my tires last season...plus i hear bmw events hit triple digits!! ::Banana::
Here is the general info: http://mav.pca.org/Events/AX.asp
They always use one of these three courses: http://mav.pca.org/Events/Autocross/...ingOverlay.htm
No chalk lines.
I want to come, but i think work is going to have me do some testing Friday in which if i pass, my schedule will change. :( If i fail though I can go but willl only have one more chance to pass the test or I'm fired. Decisions decisions. ha.
Lee and I will be there. Did you guys settle on a new breakfast location?
