Whatever the old people aren't.
As soon as you do it it's not cool anymore.

HEHEHEHE - Spec Miata exhaust on my NA, but it's a track toy.

I'm happy with my old FM Duals but they aren't TCB. The RB Duals seem popular with TDR. Enthusza have many admirers. The Borla aren't all that great from what I've heard.
Heck just run it straight out of the header.
Enthusza budget racer.
I have an Enthusa with the Borla non rez.
After the first year, the Borla got loud so I put a cherrybomb as a rez.
I would recommend the Enthusa, but opt for the Resonator.
I have had this one for 5 or 6 years.
I have liked my Borla cat-back thus far.
+1 for the Borla... but I'll eventually add a cherry bomb to the mid-pipe. It can be a tad loud at times.
Not sure about the NA, but I love the magnaflow cat-back I have
That doesn't count.....you have one if those whirly-gigs. ;)
I put a magnaflow on my first Miata, and it would make your ears bleed at 4k.
Enthuza with Edelbrock - Old School FTW ::Banana::
Anyone interested in getting in on an Enthuza exhaust group buy? I emailed Jason and he is supposed to send me some pricing info today. He told me generally it's 10-12% off his posted prices. We only need 3 to qualify for a group buy.

I might possibly be on board with that! ::Banana::

Still looking for anyone interested in the group buy. Jason tells me he has a great deal for the NB cars going on right now!
I also have a killer deal on the Ansa dual exhaust for the NB cars. $300 including shipping if anyone is interested in a nice, mild replacement for the factory muffler.
I like this one:
DP6061 exhaust
I still like the sound of the Ansa muffler that's on the car formerly known as sammm's '92. The tone is not overbearing, but you definitely know that's not the stock muffler.
My current NA has an old Thermal R&D exhaust. I don't think that they can be had directly from Thermal anymore, but the FM exhausts are currently made by Thermal, so same idea. After seven or so years, though, it's pretty damn raspy...which satisfies my inner ricer. ::Banana::
Jason @ Enthuza does primarily use Borla mufflers at the moment. However, he will accommodate a customer's request for a different muffler to some extent. I know mr brg has a 3" Enthuza with an Ansa silverline muffler and seems to like it...aside from the hanger that pulled off of the piping. Jason changed the hanger design due to a couple of other folks mentioning the same issue.
Dan's exhaust is indeed very nice in both looks & sound. There's also a fair amount of adjustability built into the design. It's at the top of my list once they get around to making a 3".
There is currently a 2.25" system available. Last I looked, it was marked down a decent amount, too!
So, anyone interested in getting in on the Enthuza group buy?
I have been contemplating a XR for more than a year, but it won't happen until after June this year.
From Jason at Enthuza -
Here are a sample of the prices. NA Racer Exhaust $378. NA budget Racer $341. NB Ansa Dual exhaust $300. NB Budget Speeder $251. NB Speeder Stainless $287. NB XR $251. NC Cruiser $360. NC Single $306.
This is a 10% discount on just about anything on the website. Have anyone interested in other systems, cats, testpipe, etc. to call me for a prices. I think to get the most people to view this group-buy it needs to be started in a new thread. Thanks, Jason.
I have the Ansa duals with a Good-Win midpipe and love it. Nothing like a low moan in my muffler and my woman::Banana:: You can come over to the house and hear at least one of them.... (this is where the smack talk starts)
Look what I found in the Archives!

Racing Beat header, mid-pipe and dual exhaust with a Jackson Racing cat.
