Anybody play? Or know of any good local courses?

Used to play. There is actually one a few blocks from Track Dog. I'd love to play again.
There's one off 360 and 121, just south of Grapevine.
There's Z-Boaz in Ft Worth off of Vickery, just north of I-20, Veteran's Park in Arlington, Audubon Park in Garland off of Oates just north of 635, and BB Owen on Plano Rd just south of 635.
I'm sure there are more, but those are the 4 I frequented back when I played. Veteran's is by far the best of the lot.
Yeah I heard Veteran's and the course in Grapevine are really nice. The weather is so nice this time of year...
Lost my first disc today! lol
I used to play at Veteran's all the time when I lived in Arlington. It's a small park, but very challenging.
Lewisville lake has a fun course. Denton has one at North Lakes Park, and Flower Mound has a good learners course. I'd like to play again, it's been a few years.
Maybe we need to have a MME Disc Golf meet!
I'm game for a Saturday or Sunday. (I'll need to pick up some discs again.)
damn. i wish i had discs lol. disc golf is fun as hell, but i dont have any :(
lol man, funds are so low though. cheap to me is a fortune lol
I love playing and my normal course is in cedar hill I think it is Lester lorch park or something like that. It has two full 18 courses that are pretty nice.
Is that the one in the woods off of 67 near Mt Lebanon and Texas Plume Road?
EDIT: Just found it... yep, I've been there. That's a really nice place to go stomping around.
Is 'Play It Again Sports' still around? They used to sell used discs for cheap....or find a course with a water hole and go diving. ::Fish::
Looks like they're still around - I forgot about that place!

Yesterday, I found the course at North Lake Park in Denton. Then I went to Second Hand Sports on McKinney Street and bought 3 disc for $12. Back to the park to play three holes in the high wind. It's been a long time since I had thrown a Frisby, so I was very bad. I played 1, 15 and 2. I think my score was about 25 for three holes. (Should I be calling them holes?)
It gets easier as you get it more throws and work on your form and for me it took trying several different discs until I found ones that worked well with my throwing style. I am pretty sure that most tournaments play every hole as a par 3, and I think hole is the correct term.
