I'm going to Propwash for the second time... last time, another member lead a fun drive to the party.... two hours of driving to get to Denton!!

I think William and Rick were gonna start a caravan from McKinney. I don't know all the details he was gonna update me today. You should call TDR and ask him.
Don't ask me. This is jdcanadian's party. I will meet up where ever and whenever he says and follow his tail lights. I think the early talk was leaving around 11am-12pm from the Chili's at 380 and 75 and take some of the back roads to 35.
Yeah we're doing something similar to that, we just wanna keep it under 1.5-2hours so we don't miss events etc, if I recall.

I haven't used FapQuest in about 15 years. Because it freaking sucks. Google Maps is waaaaaaaay better, and it's easy to link maps.Quote:

Jerome mentioned even possibly making a quick stop by ECR along the way, for people who havent been can check it out and see some cars run. Don't know if that is in the air still or been squashed completely but either that or the Denton car show I am in for.

I can't believe I'm home on leave and STILL can't make it to Propwash this year.

Car show is at the Wells Fargo building, southeast corner of the courthouse square in downtown Denton.
my navigator say's he knows Denton... we should be good...
BTW... those coming to my place at 11 will go to the gas station... others, FILL UP!!!
After the car show(a quick run through)we'll stop in Denton at a grocery store to get vittles, then PROPWASH!!see you in the morning, uh, later today....
PS. gaagle maps says 77.4 miles and 1 hour 45 minutes.

It was incredible seeing all the cars and GORGEOUS aircraft! I got some really great shots of those warbirds. I'll post a few here after I do a little post-production on them.
I'm giving jdcanadian a month of orange for "taking one for the team" and being first to hit a ball mount that spit out of a truck he was following. They really should have waited til 3 o'clock and had a traffic free run across Collin and Grayson Counties (and awfully close to the Red River since it was such a beautiful day)...
