Dropped off my car at Rogue's today to have a list of maintenance issues addressed and for some custom paint. Since I won't ever be able to buy a 911 GT3 RS... I decided to have the track car done up for the next best thing... the miata is being painted signal green with custom "MX-5 RS" side stripes. Now the waiting game begins...Attachment 6454

Does Rogue do vinyl striping? I need to pretty up my track car too.
He can apply them I guess, but he doesn't make them.

Yup, very green indeed. Should get some good eye rolls from a lot of people, but I think I'm gonna like it.
Looks like an NA and an NC have already beat me to the punch... have not seen an NB yet, but I'm sure it's probably out there...

Those pics don't do it justice, that car was beautiful in person.
And I now quote my amazing wife who said this without any promoting from me: "You've got to get black wheels, those [the ones in the picture] don't look right." She's a keeper :)

In the short term, the interior is getting race seats. Black and tan will have to suffice for a while. That's allow the budget will allow.
Bring it by TDR. I'd love to see it again in person.

It's the GTC-200 that 949 and Goodwin sell. I'm not sure what the dimensions are. The GTC-300 is the bigger one that some serious TT guys run.

If the rules allow it, you want a dual element wing. The slot between the wings allows the second wing to be run at a much steeper angle without stalling. Dual element wing produce much more down force than single wings of the same size.Quote:

I plan on swapping springs and doing an alignment/corner balance. I'll then reevaluate the wing. I honestly didn't mind the way the car drove this last weekend. Confidence levels were high as the backend never showed signs of moving. I was still able to get the car to rotate nicely on the entry and middle portion of rattle snake (1.7 CW). For reference, on 225 RS3, AST coilovers, stock swaybars, and stock power my best lap of the weekend was 1:30.9.
For someone of your skill level and car performance level, you'll want a front splitter or canards to go with the wing.
