The event was meh... 3 hot laps on a ~30 second AX course in a Fiesta ST. Congrats to Jimmy on winning some nice headphones.
I was herding 40 4-year-olds and another 40+ parents, grandparents, etc for MB3s birthday party today, so had no chance of making it to Arlington. Glad I didn't miss much, and that by no showing I gave Jimmy a chance at a little glory. :)
So who else made it out, what kind of times did you run? I wonder how many headphones went to users here LOL, I left with a set too. I thought it was cool of Ford for a free hooning of their Fiesta.
I was there. My best time was 28.950 sec. I'm happy with that, considering how little I've driven in the last 4 months. I think I was 5th fastest in the 12-1 time slot.
28.0. Won some headphones.
I had a good time and enjoyed the Fiesta. I drove the trucks in the afternoon and I liked the Chevy better.
I got the fastest time of the day with a 27.9 and also won some headphones lol
I quite enjoyed driving it. It was a blast to throw around and had I had a few more laps I think I could have shaved a couple more tenths :burnrubr:
My best was a 28.2, had fun battling KenO for the shootout. I need to bring my miata to a cone killing day soon.
So guys that won headphones here's a tip if you don't want them/haven't opened them yet.
I just went to Target and exchanged them for a 16Gb iPad mini and 2 pair of nice ear buds. I also had to buy a $3 pack of batteries because if you return an online only item you have to spend the money in the same department as the item that you are returning as well as spend > the amount of the item you are returning which in our case is $299.99. I would have gone to Best Buy but they have these headphones on sale for $79 right now.
I just figure it will be easier to sell the Ipad for close to $300 rather than a pair of headphones. Do with them as you may, just figured I would let you know of my success ::Banana::
