Were those 5-spokes available in 2002? I thought they were 99-00 only, but I've been wrong before. Also has no Shock tower brace, which I thought was standard on the SE's. Definitely a unique car.
^I thought '01 & up went to 16", with the 'curvy' spokes.
Me too. But since this car seems to be a "special order" package SE, I figured there may be options I don't know about.
Edit: The best source I've located indicated they were used from 99-02 on some models, while the twisted spoke 16's were an 01-03 wheel.

I know the tan interior LS trim got ya the 16" rims. Think the Base models (Black Interior) could still get the 15".

Also a Vivid car was not an SE variant it was "special" internet order car.
Cool, didn't realize they were a color-only special order.
As soon as I saw the black interior, I knew it was this car:

I had one like that. I don't remember my car number. Internet order. Not an SE. SE is a different color.
The one I had was a 5 speed, the cloth all black interior and 15" rims. I put the 10AE polish wheels on mine for the bling.
Aero / packages you chose what you wanted.
A picture.

^How'd you end up with one? :D
My bought-new base model 2001 had the 15" five spokes like the yellow.
Yes. Yes, we do. :-)
It's a shame the subject example is being flipped. It's a pretty nice example, but I'm biased. Mine came without Tupperware too, not even the wing his has. I got one with cloth, sport suspension, LSD, hardtop, and no Tupperware at all, IMO the perfect Miata. When mine came up for sale, I wasn't really in a position to buy it, but I knew I would never find another like it since it was one of probably 10 or 15 in existence like it.
It will be interesting to see what price he gets, although it will be irrelevant to me since I don't ever intend to sell mine.
Really nice car for sure
Side Note - If you want your very own Vivid Yellow Miata I know a guy that is soon to be selling a real nice one owner car.... ;-)
I've been told the one in Ft. Worth is still available ;-).Quote:

The 2002's were the same color as that car, but in 2002 they only made 239 of em.
Mine has the matching hardtop as well.
POS, if we could get a third one to join us, we'd have as many as there were at the 25th anniversary Miata celebration at MRLS.
