I have seen a lot of speculation on NC and Soltice Rollbar issues in other unrelated threads and I thought I would start a new thread for us to discuss just it.
I was looking at HardDog's sit and saw that they do a bar for the Z3. It uses the factory hoop connecting spots for the back support location and then they come forward a little for the rollbar hoop connection. Wouldn't something like this be possible for the NC?

After my first look the NC's rear deck a roll bar is possible, but is going to be harder than putting one in an NA or NB. The way the top now stows it is going to force the rear supports of a bar wider (farther towards the outside edges of the car).
I was looking at it last night at Hiley, seems like the rear supports are going to be the big issue, there is very little open space available where the top stows....
Could the rear support go to where the factory hoops are now like on the Z3 bar? Is there enough room in front of it for the main hoop without it sitting on your head?Quote:
