Well, I am intercooled. TDR. I am currently at 9-9.5psi and it is a very happy setup. Lots of torque. I will post up the dyno results when I go.

Yup... TrackDogRacing.com is making intercoolers... really neat looking ones, too!Quote:

While it was there, he picked up his BRG so he wouldn't be without a Miata. He got the idea that it would be cool to have both a turbo Miata and a Supercharged Miata, so he added a Greddy Turbo to the BRG. Meanwhile, BRP ran into problems with the coldside. They talked him into letting them install there new BRP Turbo system onto the car instead. When he got it back, he found himself left with two Turbo Miatas. That is when he sold the BRG to Ataim. Last weekend he took the Red NB with the BRP Turbo that he still owns to Track Dog Racing (where they are known for their Supercharger Intercoolers). Track Dog Racing fitted the NB with their brand new intercooler that was designed for use with the BRP Turbo.
Any questions?
I forgot that the red one had the supercharger on it... I just remember working with the turbo setup.
Ugh... my fading memory.
OK I understand now  So what kinda turbo comes with the BRP turbo kit? And does it not come intercooled already? Or is kinda like a starter kit like the Greddy kit is for the 1.6's?
I think they offer different options. IIRC his kit has a GT-25 or 28. I am sure someone wil post a link soon.Quote:

The Red M2 had a jrsc and now has a brp turbo. The turbo is a GT2554r, or GT25 as it is more commonly know. FM uses the GT2560r on their kit or GT28(it used to be a gt28, but now is the gt2560r or "the turbo formerly known as BBB Turbo.")
The BRP kit is a basic 6psi kit, with a powercard. I am running the Greddy Emanage unit on mine, it controls both timing and fuel and lets me run larger injectors.
Brant has a water/air intercooler and is working on a "copy" of the over the top TDR intercooler.
I am currently running 9-10psi, and still playing with my injector table. I am using Toyota Supra 305cc injectors ( on loan from Ataim...how is the BRG running?). I think I am in the 200rwhp range right now.
I also have a "spare" motor that I am building with forged internals, more appropriate for forced induction. I just bought a set of GTX323 rods on ebay and they are at the machinist getting polished and shot peened. They are supposed to be good up to 280/300 which is the top of my horsepower range. Right now I just want a nice 220 to play with, and probably wont go beyond 250 for tranmissions sake.
Thanks for all the interest.
