It ebbs and flows...
Ah... Mensa, quite the ironic name...
At least for those who speak Spanish.

At least, that's what all the old people tell me. ::Clown::

It wasn't the old ones with the problems
Gee, Merv, it seems like you're sort of ::StirTheP here. If you guys want to talk about literature, architecture, philosophy, politics, etc. I'd be happy to do so, but mostly I thought this was a place to talk cars, shoot the shit, and try to make each other laugh.

I don't know what the OP is complaining about, everyone here is pretty smart and they're willing to post ask questions and stuff the run on sentences lack of punctuation or the use of paragraphs doesn't bother me either I mean if you can read what the heck do you need sentences paragraphs or punctuation for they're like overkill and stuff on a brighter note my to do list is shrinking although I'm frightened by the prospect op putting in new shocks this is a great board don't ruin it by having all kinds of rules & stuff I mean Paris Hilton is in jail who's taking care of her little dog that's the important stuff.

I'm thinking MadMerv is referencing some of out Rocket Surgeons here on the board who have had issues lately...... ::Clown::
No more than the rest of us.
With over 6 million words in the English language, most having more than one meaning, it is unlikely that anyone will never make a faux pas. A good read, IMHO, is The Mother Tongue, English & How It Got That Way by Bill Bryson, published by Avon Books.
I still have my copy of Walsh's Plain English Handbook from my eighth grade English class. I don't think schools have used it in awhile.
Ahhhh. I feel so much better..........
sorry about the IQ thing.. I probably brot teh bord's level down with my grate speling skils.
