There was a guy I knew in CA that had a silver NA with that top and I always loved the look.
Just saw a silver 911 turbo with a top like that. It looked great.

Mine never faded. FWIW, it was garage kept while I owned it.
Mine has not faded at all in 9 months, most of last fall was outside. I've sold a ore to a customer who parks outside, no complaints.
