Wow. Worst game ever. I think they are trying to see how badly they can loose tonight......

Everytime there was a defensive lapse the puck ended up in our net, exact opposite on the other end of the ice.

Not to mention two times the refs didn't blow the whistle when our player was tripped eliminating a possible scoring chance just to have the puck go the other way and end up in our net.

The officiating in that game was attrocious.

I just can't get into watching the Stars this year. Turco is hot and cold and the team is getting old. I also question the hiring of their current coach. They shouldn't have fired Tippett.

MiataMike and I went to the two home games last week. There is no sign of defense showing up on this team anytime soon and they won't have a chance of hell of making the playoffs without it.

I was royally upset when I heard about Tippett's firing last year. He was a great coach who had the team in the confence finals in '07 and then the team was plagued with injury last year. Mike and I were noticing how defense wasn't a problem when Tippett and that's with a majority of the same players on this team.

I was about 8 rows up from the glass that game. Sorry but the Stars did not play well & their goaltending was terrible...not the officiating. The refs gave the Stars several power plays to get back in the game but they decided to blow it & give up several more goals!

So how about the game Saturday?! Go Pens!!!

We were talking about the Game Vs. La Kings, Not the one you went to. The one against the Blues yeah, that was horrible. They stopped playing after the first period. You could tell when they came out of the 1st intermission when only 3 guys rushed out to the ice and the entire other team was on before the rest of our guys came out. (Same thing after the 2nd intermission.)
The Game against LA I think the Stars out played them; but ever time LA had a scoring chance it was in the net. And there is nothing Turko can do when a pass makes it across the ice just past the crease to a wide open back door shot. I'm sorry but thats not Turkos fault and LA scored 3 of their 5 Goals like that.

And yes Turko was BAD against the Blues the entire TEAM was bad that game.
