Default Screwdrivers for Japanese philips screw (they are different from US philips)

After rounding out lots of Philips screws I learned that Japanese Philips screws are different. If you have a Japanese car you need JIS spec screwdrivers. I really like my Vessel screwdrivers. You will be shocked how much better they hold. There are a few other vendors for JIS spec screwdrivers, but Vessel are the only ones I have tried.

This explains the difference between US and JIS screw drivers.

Interesting...I've been using my old Craftsman screwdrivers on my Miatae for several years.

I did for years also. They work most of the time, but I have also rounded out lots of screw heads. Mostly on motorcycles back when I used to ride.

I got one of these impact drivers for my mobile tool set. It a screwdriver and impact in one. And now I know its JIS size:

I am here to help 

If it makes you feel better I have some more of them in my Amazon cart now. I am trying to not buy more tools I really don’t need, but I probably will. I might “need” them sometime.
