ouch! colleyville is Expensive!
My parents have put their house in Colleyville up for sale in preparation for their retirement to Arizona next year. While the house itself is on the smaller side for the area it's in (~2700 sq. ft., 3 bdr., 3 bath), the property is the key - almost two full acres, right in the middle of Colleyville. The entire two acres is irrigated on a well-driven sprinkler system. The house includes a hot tub, a recently refinished wood deck, and plenty of breathing room, with a detached, two-story, 12x20 barn/workshop, and plenty of room to add additional detached garages to complement the oversized, attached, two-car garage with workshop the house currently has.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking.....Nice house, but too rich for my blood....
Indeed it is. FWIW, most of the houses in that area are larger, but with far less land (think 3000-4000 sq. ft on less than an acre), and typically sell in the $400k-$700k range. My parents like to joke that they're the "poor folk" in the neighborhood.Originally Posted by rx7gslse

oh, I wans't saying it was overpriced.. I was just saying I can't afford it :)
but yeah, from most of Colleyville I know, 2 acres is a ton of space! I've umm... a 55 x 110' lot or something tiny like that?
yeah, but you pay for good schools too...
