    Billy,

Please put you wallet up and step away from the Bose.

Hmm what is decent? Are we talking about your decent or my decent? I'm just curious because I don't want to offend anyone else's decent...

ahh yes I feel the same way but have you heard the new system?
I am looking at the L1 model 2 with dual B1 subs and the tone match mixer.
This I can carry in my Miata, and will sound like a studio monitor....means more work for me vocaly and I have to play to perfection or near perfection but I would not need the trailer to haul my current PA and save registration and insurance on the trailer, loads of gas money and days of pain after moving the monster I have now.
All this and I will be able to project my sound further than conventional speakers without having to take peoples head off with the volume.

Here is a link to the unit I am looking at, see what you think.

yup, the tone match is supposed to be pretty dang good....but they are working out bugs in it.
the good thing is you can run the system without it if need be.

I am mostly looking for something portable that will sound great.
My current amp is fantastic but weighs 65lbs and has a large footprint.
with the "Tone Match" I can set up EQ instantly for my specific guitar and mic that I use.

Went out to demo the Bose Li today, I am sold on it....their pro audio gear for musicians must be a lot better than their home entertainment and car audio gear cause that thing pumps and sounds organic and clean.

So I will be selling my Genz Benz Pro amp too that I just bought if anyone is interested I will take a 140. hit and sell it for 700.00

no, but I also did the panaray Bose system...and it sounded better BUT it won't fit in the Miata.
The guitar pretty much takes up the front seat and will not fit in the trunk so i have to have something that will fit in the trunk.
