No, the shop didn't deck the timing chain cover when they decked the block, so there was a .25 mm difference in height. Since the head sits on the timing chain cover, there would have been a considerable gap and the head wouldn't seal. As far as I know, Adam has already dropped the block back off to get redecked and it should be ready for pickup.

I just had to drop the timing cover off to get it shaved a little. Dropped it off at 10am and picked it up after I got off work.
