    Default Just about finished

Well, after many months setting my car aside, we started working on getting it running again. Just finished with all of the head work... I ended up having to buy a new set of Ferrea Valves, and I got the head to the car O-Rung for a better seal under extreeme boost levels. Im really excited about getting it back on the road. Its been far too long. I should have it running again by the end of the week, and then its back to the dyno!

SWEET! Glad to hear that you're still alive and wrenching on your wild ride!

Are you in Louisiana now, or still in TX?

Still running the MoTeC. VQ16 is some new stuff thats like C16 but its oxegenated or something like that. Just a new race gas blend I suppose. Some are having good luck on it though.

Be careful, Louisiana cops can be VERY unfriendly.

Get us posted on the progress!

I never had an issue with the LA PD.

Was pulled over twice. Once was a local boy in Vinton who caught me 10 over and let me go with a warning.

The other was a State Trooper and caught me doing 74 in a 65, but I flustered him because he originally stated that I was doing 74 in a 55. He let me go with a warning.

The police where I live are not that bad at all. If you cross the river into Bossier City though, they will pull a modified import over for anything. A few of my friends that venture over there have gotton modified exhaust tickets!!! The sad thing is that they will leave the guys with the open exhausts on their Z71 pickups alone, and they are far more obnoxious sounding.

    Did a little research.

I couldn't find any fuel called "VQ16". I did find "Q16", though. HERE is some info.

How are you able to run this? It's leaded.
