Anyone have any non Bose speakers? I'm trying to get rid of my Bose stereo as I can't stand the six disc cd player(I miss my mid's, highs and mp3 player). Advice or suggestions gladly accepted.

Hmmm... I wouldn't mind tearing the Bose unit apart to see if the changer would fit the factory head unit in my 03...

For a small TCb fee I will sell my Silver faced 6 disc bose

I got the single DIN Mazda radio in the '99 and the 6 disk in the '02. The '02 radio while not the ultimate is a lot better than what I have in the '99.

I have also been made aware that Santa is going to get the Ipod connection for the '02's radio.

The OEM pocket off of an '01 is about $15 at the Mazda dealership. I bought one when I installed my aftermarket radio a couple of years ago. Another option is to put an Alpine midrange speaker in the empty space.

I think instead of being in a hurry, I'm just going to piece it together in the next few weeks. I know i need the following(correct me if I'm wrong): 6 1/2 speakers, tweeters but what size, a head unit, c clips to convert to a single din, pocket, and speaker wire.
