It's a GPS-based datalogging system for autocrossing, road racing, or drag racing. Velcro the GPS receiver to the dash of your car, throw the pocket PC in the glovebox (it receives data from the GPS unit via Bluetooth wireless connection), and instantly datalog your next track session. You'll get lap times, speed, braking, acceleration, and lateral Gs data, which can be displayed in many different formats, including track maps, friction circles, etc.. Also calculates very accurate 0-60, 60-foot, and 1/4 mile times.

The MQGPS is a breakthrough in capability, price, and ease of use compared to older accelerometer-based systems. No worries about leveling the unit, no errors due to roads that aren't perfectly flat. Stick it to under your windshield and go test. Easily transfer the system to another car for comparison. Use a Pocket PC or Laptop PC for flight recording, real-time display, and analysis.

    Capabilities:
    • Pure GPS solution – no need to add sensors or beacons – easy to install and transfer
    • Dashboard lap timer and lap counter, real-time data display
    • Accurate track mapping – no fudge factors to get believable maps
    • Lap and segment time calculations, best lap estimation
    • Lateral and longitudinal acceleration
    • Speed and distance
    • Direct net horsepower measurement
    • Standard ¼ mile timings
    • Overlay and compare data from different laps, different drivers
    • Innovative QView™ color graphic display for data analysis
    • Wireless Bluetooth connection
    • Laptop supported but not required. Uses inexpensive Pocket PCs for real-time display, datalogging , and full-featured analysis. Analyze your data immediately, when it counts the most, not when you get home.
    • Hands free operation using automatic speed threshold trigger
    • Free software

No more Novice for me... except maybe to get back in the groove next year. But that will be a maximum of 1 event. And probably SCCA, not ER... they'll get suspicious
