    Default Dallas Car Show

Well, I figured folks would be jumping up and down about this one, but this site has been very quite on the subject. So I guess I'll start the conversation...

Anyone interested in going to the Dallas Auto Show on the first weekend in March? I know there are other things going on, but I don't want to miss it. I'm actually thinking of taking Friday off and going down to the convention center then so that the crowds aren't so bad.

Sure, nothing else on my calendar that weekend

How about Friday night - including some food first?

Well if it's gonna be just three of us east-siders, why don't we take the park and ride from Parker Station in Plano? I've been pondering an early-out on Friday myself... Weekend crowds... Yeeesh!

    Oooohhhh... touchy. No offense intended.

tailchaser, I'd definitely be interested in taking the train down. It's kinda fun, and gets you out of the traffic. If we decide Saturday is better for everyone, then it's the only way to go!

As for Friday, I've actually got a commitment on Friday evening, so I'd have to come back earlier -- in other words, I couldn't do the dinner thing. Now, Hooters on late on Saturday afternoon might be fun.

Looks like they are planning to go the week before it actually starts! :P

Not that the world revolves around my schedule, but I'm good for just about any time except Friday evening.

I'd rather go during the week when the crowds are light so I can sit in as many cars possible while making motor noises! Zoom-zoom

Sounds like we may be angling for a Thursday night thing... Is it Poll Time?

Well it was looking like Friday is set aside for "pimp'n nights." :afro:

I'd like to join you guys at the Auto Show. I didn't think it was going to work with my schedule this year.

I work Friday nights, and I'll be in Mineral Wells both Saturday and Sunday that weekend, so count my vote in for Wednesday or Thursday night.

Ok, instead of talking about this, let's vote on it...
