Are those the same 's who have been advising you here?

There was a story on the late news last night about a new eye surgery. I fell asleep before it ran. Did you see it? cbs11tv.com

The price being 2X lasik might be a problem for TCB members

    Exclamation

Had my LASIK done today and went with the monovision option. If for some reason I don't like it, the one eye will be re-corrected for distance vision at no extra charge (would just have to wait 60 days). My eyes are still recovering and should be much better in the morning.

    Everything went well. No issues.

Both eyes were LASIK'd. The right one had the astigmatism removed (4 seconds) and the left one (my dominant eye) was treated for distance vision (20 seconds).
If I decide I don't like the monovision, the right eye can be re-done for distance but I'd have to wear readers for up close stuff.

Glad to hear it, Sam. Look forward to hearing reports of your progress and how you like it.

I had slight blurring and halos at night for a month or so. It was interesting to watch it slowly get better. I have neither issue now, although there might be halos that I am just used to.

Awesome! I had my follow-up early yesterday morning. Was already seeing 20/20 or better in my left eye around 16 hours after surgery. The monovision will take some more getting used to, but I can already tell an improvement from yesterday to today.

Glad to hear about your eye upgrades. I had floaters after mine that took getting used to. Beats groping around for the glasses.

There was also the Simpsons episode in the mall where Homer gets the surgery and then his eyes cake over as the exits the office into the mall.
