Is it possible to do a couple of dyno runs on Saturday (Jan 19)?

I don't see why not... have you called to see if the dyno shop is open?

My friend would want to dyno his M3. I'd throw the Elise up there for fun. Where were you looking at?

Gearheads in Arlington does dyno's, i had my Mustang done there. It was 35 for two runs with air to fuel ratio but you have to call and set an appointment up as they are quite busy.

Heh... I was wondering... I decided to go by what you asked instead of interpreting it.

Hmmm... What about the guys in Denton?

I give ATS a big thumbs up, Aaron is a cool guy. Someone call him in the morning and see if he could do a small dyno day.

Looks like we could 3-4 people interested as of now. I only need 1-2 runs.

I'm gonna keep an eye on this thread... if I can break away and get to Denton, I'd love to have a baseline dyno run before I start boosting things.

Houston, we have a problem. I have seen 1.6s with superchargers that have dynoed less than that. I think your dyno may have been out of tune.

That is pretty impressive if it is correct, since my MSM put down 154 rwhp stock

Isn't that more power at the rear wheels than the factory says comes from the crank? I think they dyno was a little off. It should be closer to 90 rwhp.

+1...they were only rated at 116hp when they rolled off the assembly line.

LOL I'm just screwing around, no one set anything up so we didn't go. I just wanted to see how many responses I could get to my bogus numbers. :) If you guys want to go this weekend someone should call ATS and see if they have availability to setup a dyno day.

My tired 170K mile stock 1.6 probably wouldn't even break into the 90's. I did have a 1.6L SOHC civic with a small ball bearing turbo that put down 176/173 corrected though. I always wondered why the same size Miata engine only puts down 140 s/c, must be the head design.

Yep. Before I found the darkside, my 1.6 with catback exhaust, K&N filter, and a timing bump pulled 95rwhp at ATS.

I'm interested in seeing how over rated the factory HP numbers are on the RX-8!!!

Denton is a long way, but I'm a definite maybe.

Put me down as a definite maybe, too. I am curious to see how much extra horsepower I have with the new radiator hoses.
