Thread: Bad CV joint

    Default Bad CV joint

I think I have a bad CV Joint. With the car on jack stands and wheels off I have a clicking sound when moving the hub in a clock and counter clockwise motion. What do you think? What would it take to fix it? Cost?

Do you feel it in the CV joint? If not it might be the pinion gear... put your hand up towards the front of the diff and try it again to see if you feel it up there.

What year car do you have? I have some 1.6L half shafts.
