Got some Info about the LA Divisonal!

    Quality
Inn in Port Allen. To get a room, people must call the hotel direct
(225-343-4821) and ask for the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) rate. The
    rate is $89.95 per night.

Plus now I have stock wheels to put A6's on!

I know all the RX-8 guys at one time were trying 285's did that work or were the 245's better? I've also heard you guys were putting a pretty big front bar on...
There's no real consensus on either. Most of the top cars at Nats had 245s, but Carter runs 285s and that's what Sipe is going back to this season. Personally, I don't think you gain anything trying to cram the 285s onto an 8" wheel. 245s work well and have won the top spot three years running in the class.

Many of the cars either have a factory front bar or the Mazdaspeed bar, which is only 10% stiffer than stock. Mine was on a factory front bar in '05 & '06, and a MS bar in '07, and trophied all three years. Isley uses a Mazdaspeed bar. Goeke uses a drilled factory bar (about the same as the MS bar). Jon's car has a factory front bar, moto's has a Whiteline adjustable bar (slightly stiffer than the Mazdaspeed).

They have both adjustable and non-adjustable, but my TCB-self bought the non-adjustable one on close out for $70.

Okay, you tallked me into the extra $10/night. I am at the Fairfield, too. My race wheels will probably appreciate it when they are still with Daddy in the morning.

    Question

Where would one register for this event??

I tried the AXWare link but it doesn't seem to be working, or it could be me!

I registered on AXWare. It's you.

I find AxWare to be very un-intuitive and cumbersome. DLB is much easier.

I agree the 245s work great......but there's no reason to not have a bigger tire right?

285 Hoosier left 245 Kumho right on narrower 18x7.5 wheels. Stemmler had 285 Hoosiers all around on his GXP and did quite well

The Boxster now for the first time doesn't push :)
