I was thinking more along the lines of "NO" class...

I believe that falls in the under-attended but much needed "tire hauler" class.

Who is the contact for this event? I have a friend that will be in town that weekend and was wondering if I could let him take a couple of my runs. That would enable me to 'entice' him away from other things and still get some serious practice.

Sorry, but we can't allow non-registered drivers to participate. Your friend can ride along with you after signing the insurance waiver, but to drive he'll have to register.

Did anyone ever tell you you're a 'glass half empty' kinda guy? Oh wait, you poured the glass on the skidpad. I see!!!

The cones were wet when they were put in the trailer, but they were only rained on after the event.

Not sure what happened to ken o, but I saw him in his car but not running.

Never saw the originator of this thread, and I had his winnings from last year

Man! It was windy all day.

A very worthwhile day. I had fun. I learned some things. I heat cycled my new V710's, but it wasn't easy on the cool bus lot. My old RA-1's had a surprising amoung of grip. I changed tires 5 times, RA-1's, V710's, rotate V710's, RA-1's, RT-615's.

If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Good times! This event was totally worth the money. Cosmos's girlfriend co-drove with me and really stepped it up. Poor girl, I think she's hooked on the R-comp crack pipe now!

Big thanks to cone-cerned for letting me drive his car for a few runs. It definitely helped me remember why I like Miatas so much.

New SSRs I got are for the older 12mm studs not the new 14mm ones. Would not fit and I did not want to take a drill to $1,300 in brand new wheels.

That is what I figured when I saw you come back but not run.

I had a great time.... I really enjoyed the slalom. I think I went about 20times, even though I did call it a day early. The family was at home so I went an hung out with them.. oh and priced a new wheel bearing.... Ouch!

Pretty good day, I was exhausted by the end. Big thanks to Conecerned for the patch on that screw in my tire, I never knew fixing a tire on the spot could be that quick and easy.
