Questions! I do not have a Porter Cable and only has a cheap one-speed random orbital buffer/polisher. Can I use the swirle remover, polisher etc. to get "good enough result"? The main problem on my car is swirle marks and paint chips at the front bumper?

Andy... it looks like you got the PDR done, and the paint looks effing GREAT! Are, uh, you guys going to go on a road show with this act? I know my car could use a little buffin' here and there.

    Nice job, XM and cam!

Wow cam76034's car looks great. I wish I knew how to do that. XM_Rocks, what would you charge to do mine?

Yeah, you know what it looked like before! If we could have a tech day that combined Steve Baker's PDR skills and XM_Rocks magic...OTOH, it took almost a full 6 hours Sunday to achieve this. So I don't think we'd get many cars done at that rate. Unless it was a DIY with XM supervising.

If you are handy with the mechanical side of Miatas I would gladly trade a detail for work done on my car... suspension, timing belt etc.

Yes the problem would lie in that the Porter Cable was going at least half of that time.

Making the sharing one Porter Cable spread out over multiple cars nearly impossible.

Awesome... I would recommend some Menzerna Power Gloss and a Yellow Pad for tough stuff as well.

Look like you got a great deal there!

I enjoyed my short reign as the Porter Cable King here on the board.

Look forward to seeing some before/after pics!

Let me know if you need any help!

You'll always be the PC, XM!

Did you get your O2 sensors yet? Still throwing CEL?

Nope... they shipped on Tuesday so it should be here soon.

*correction * It was at home when I got in!

I may try and throw it in on Sunday... my Saturday is full.

    No CEL since.

    Its consistently inconsistent.

XM_ROCKS, would you be willing to wax a 1990 red miata for a fee? I do not understand any of what you said about the steps and do not own the machine you mention but would be willing to pay possibly. You do amazing work!
