Thread: Another 'new guy'...

    Default Another 'new guy'...

    Hi all,

I'm Scott. I have a white '96 R-Code that I bought from a friend of mine. Its been worked over pretty well.

The main secrets are a GT28 turbo system and methanol injection. I'm currently working on getting the suspension bits sorted...but that will come soon enough.

I --LOVE-- to drive. Hot/Cold/Day/Night... I'm not picky when it comes to enjoying driving. I currently run a meet in Arlington that used to be exclusive to the Subaru WRX/STi...but since most of us have moved on to other cars, there are a lot of different marques at the meets now. But that is neither here nor there. I want to get with Miata peoples, and see how you all do it.

Looking forward to a GTG, and meeting some of you fine people.

    -scott

    Welcome aboard!

If you'll update your profile with where you are located... there are a couple of regular get togethers on the west and east side...

If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

    Thanks for the compliments!

I too agree... a lip needs to be reinstalled. The p.o. took it off to "protect it" and it got lost in the fray.

It came with one from the factory though, so I need to just source another poly lip, or get one of the sweet ones from Vary or something.

Any and all input is appreciated!!

    Well then I -must- attend.

Thanks for the invite and the info. I like driving up in that area anyway, its been a while though. Twisties FTW.

I didnt see a location (other than the name propwash), so a little google intel put it in the Justin area, is this still accurate?

Thanks all... I cant wait to come out and see some people. I'll definitely come out to some FtWorth meets, and have no aversion to driving to Plano, so I'll have to make it out there too. Any excuse to burn up $4.00 a gallon.
