On the water to cool off the tires does one need that fancy bug spray apperatus or are there other ways that work as well???
Michael, the tires you are running are road race slicks. Dependent on the compound they may not have a problem at all with the surface and they will probably like the heat (you probably don't want to water them).

Are you still using those Star Mazda take offs? If so I have a front tire in my garage just sitting there that I brought back from GP Houston if you want it.

    Question

Does anyone know if on-site registration is still an option?

I'm there, with my brother warming my tires. Maybe the surface will give me some texture on the BFGs.

LOL! Congrats to J-Fo on all the recent success. We should be scared. Between the Arkansas Pro and Ft. Worth Tour, I think it's been a pretty good spring.

I keep meaning to come out to one after my semester is done, but doesn't look like this will be able to. Scarborough Faire this weekend with the wife. June looks good though.

Definitely an option, and it doesn't cost anything extra. We really like it better when you sign up online - it helps us balance the heats better and get a good jump on worker assignments.

What a day. I had a great time all the way up till the time I left but that is a different story. I thought that the course layout was pretty darn good. It was fast and quite challenging. I also was pleased to get that 5th run in, fowever it would have been nice to have a few more workers on course we were spread pretty thin. I guess the number of praticipants is kind of a double edge sword, if there are too many it limits the number of runs but too few makes it difficult to fulfill work assignments.

All in all I had a great time and can't wait till the next one.
