Thread: Alignment recommendations

    Default Alignment recommendations

I have an 03 LS that I want to get an alignment done. I live south of the Metroplex in Midlothian. I can get to FW as easy as Dallas. One thread I read recommended a Peterson's in Ft. Worth. Does anyone have their contact info?

    Thanks

    Dennis

THE best is in Lewisville at NTB... AJ is a board member here.

Luckily it's close to me as I live in Lewisville.

He'll even let you sit in the car and set the #s to perfect for the driver's weight if you want, or if you have your own #s he'll set it up that way.

AJ has the rep around here, but that is a long way and he was sick the day I was supposed to go see him. I went to another friend in S. Ft Worth, sat in the car and they used my specs. The guy on the machine used to drive a rail and appreciates the nuances of non-factory alignments.

Mike's the owner and good people.

If you want factory specs, I'd still say AJ or Jewell

theres a new manager there that doesnt appreciate the business i pull in to the shop. he let me go 2 weeks ago. reason: tardy to work 5-10 minutes everyday. my pov: yup i am. for two and a half years. and about 10 managers. this manager has been with the company for 2 months. i see them come and go but this one has something against me. i was just pretty much waiting for him to leave/transfer/quit but why they stuck an idiot at the top of the ladder of our store still amazes me. he fired me the day one of the other mechanics started his vacation. that left brandon to work by himself for a week and have his first day off today (2 weeks.) he had no idea onee of his guys was on vacation!

anyways enough about me, back on topic, ive heard of petersons many many years ago and believe that people still go there if theyre in the ft worth half of the metroplex. on the dallas side however, my previous job is still the hot spot. brandon helped teach me how to do alignments pretty much and is who aligns my car when i cant reach the bolts from the drivers seat. he'll get within 0.1 of your specs on camber/caster and 0.02 on toe. please dont expect a "perfect alignment" because all those numbers jump around depending on "which way you fart" (actual customers' words!)

    AJ,

Nothing against Brandon, but let us know where you land as we'll follow.

That sucks AJ. Please keep us up to date on where you end up.

How about we all call NTB in Loserville and ask for AJ. When we are told he isn't there we can all tell the manager it was a HUGE mistake.

    Everyone should call:

    NTB: Hello NTB

Caller: Hi, may I speak to AJ please? I need an alignment on my car.

NTB: AJ is no longer working here but we can help you with your alignment.

Caller: No, I need to find AJ as he really knows what he's doing. Thank you.

So are you looking at other NTBs? The Grapevine location would be best for me.
