Thread: Want to replace A/C vent rings

Default Want to replace A/C vent rings

I've got the shiny chrome Moss vent rings, and I want to replace them with these.

Is there a trick to get the old ones off without tearing up the plastic underneath? They're self-adhesive just like the beveled ones.

Cool, I'd be up for that... I'm off Mon-Tues if you want to take a look and see if we can get my rings off without tearing them up.

I honestly would not try to take them off. I think that for the price you should be able to find another set at the junkyard would be less that the hassle of trying to get them off. Besides then you could sell the old set as a ready to drop in kind of replacement.

I have a few of them from my parts car, but I think I broke at least one trying to remove it.

We can swap the whole assembly if needed. Give me a call. I'll be around both days.
