Thread: ignition wires

    Default ignition wires

Okay I've had the car 4 years and it's gone thru 2 sets of ignition wires. Is this normal? It seems unusual in my experience with other vehicles. I bought the standard $40 or $50 set last time, I think from Pep Boys or Auto Zone (I remember I was on a road trip). Any recommendations for my next set?

Source? I dug a little deeper just now and 2 of the plug terminals fell apart! Had to pull out the remains with needle-nose pliers. This has now reached emergency status and will be fixed in the next 20 minutes.

I've had my Magnecors for 5 years without fail and they have a lifetime warranty as well.

Me too! Using a custom length set on the CSP car, and I've had them on my Talon for 8 years, now, and I wouldn't buy anything else! Well worth the extra $$.

My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.

Miatas run through wires alot faster than most cars so what you're experiencing is pretty normal.

I've always bout my NGK blues through Mazda Motorsports. I've had mixed results in the past with aftermarket wires, but the Magnacores look nice.
