Did you check the sway bar good?
This week I swiped the '02 from the and have been using it for work.
One thing I notice is what sounds like a suspension rattle that I think is coming from the front end. It sounds like something is loose, but on further investigation last night I couldn't find anything wrong.
I'd like to track this noise down but I'm not sure where to start...
Anyone with an NB had a similar noise? The car is all stock with just an upgraded front sway bar.
I don't recall my '99 making this noise, but as most of you know cars don't make a lot of noise when hermetically sealed in the bubble.
TIA

Missing spring clips on the front brakes? If so it'll rattle when you hit a bump.

Lightness? What's that? I drive a PRHT!
Pebble in the brake caliper?
Bad shock? I think I have one on the Ranger that sounds like a rattle.
Have you checked the alignment bolts to see if you could turn them? Not that I would call that a rattle, more of a clunk.
So I rolled it back up on the ramps last night pulled out my trusty dead blow hammer and found the rattle!
It was the passenger side endlink the nut on the swaybar was just a touch loose, tightened it up gave it a test run and so far so good.
I would like to add the OEM NB endlinks are Meh...

Too late to help, but +1 on endlinks! BAM found one rattly one on my car after I gave up looking. I didn't mind being humbled, just glad the annoying noise was gone.
